Dumbledore's Wisdom on Desires

As much money and life as you could want! The two things most human beings would choose above all – the trouble is, humans do have a knack of choosing precisely those things that are worst for them." — Albus Dumbledore

Dumbledore is once again a wise man of Hogwarts. He talks about how most people wanting lots of money and a long life. But there's a problem. Humans often choose things that aren't good for them. He is saying that chasing after too much money and a super long life might make people do things that aren't good in the end. We should be thinking carefully about what we really want, so we don't end up with problems that will hurt our happiness. It's like choosing candies - we might pick the ones that look good but aren't healthy.
