Lopsided friendships
Growing up, I always knew about those lopsided friendships. So, in the past few years, I have decided to stop trying: I stopped putting in all the effort. Surprisingly I am not surprise—most of those friendships fizzled out.
But lemme tell ya, it wasn't easy. It’s definitely not a comfortable place to be in. I kept wondering if I messed up somehow.
Still, I've learned to go with my gut and accept that it's cool to let those friendships fade away.
It’s the reality of adult friendship.
