This how I am holding myself accountable for my bookish journey this year! I have decided to start #BookishMonday. Each week I am just gonna keep you posted on what Iโ€™m currently reading or booknotes of books I have read each week. Stay tuned for the deets!

We are halfway through January, and itโ€™s been 15 days in 2024. I am officially out of a reading slump and have been silently busy reading and writing since the start of the year. Thereโ€™s a huge stack of books on my desk and around the room, all either ready to be read or currently used for drafting booknotes.

I have recently finished a Japanese literature and this is my first proper booknotes for this year of โ€œThe Kamogawa Food Detectivesโ€

I fell in love with this book even before I finished the first chapter, it was captivating and beautifully written.

Hereโ€™s my write-up featuring this book:

  1. A Tad Saltier on Life Notes

  2. The Kamogawa Food Detectives on Booknotes

๐Ÿ›’ Buy The Kamogawa Food Detectives

I have two more Japanese books that I am currently reading it is Moshi Moshi by Banana Yoshimoto, The Forest of Wool and Steel by Natsu Miyashita and am being traumatised by Sayaka Murata in Earthlings (Iโ€™ll update you soon)

Goodluck to me, stay tuned for the deets! โ˜•๏ธ๐Ÿ“š
