All at once

"The ceiling fan is slower than usual, even after I turned it to the highest speed," Atik said, pressing the remote button while angling his square shoulders toward me. I stood right outside our bedroom, placing our takeaway dinner on the dining table.

"Ah, darn it. Maybe the blades are too heavy and need to be dusted," I replied, walking toward the kitchen sink.

In 48 hours; The next thing we knew, we had a long list of broken items in the house:

- One ceiling fan in the living room

- One ceiling fan in the master bedroom

- A burnt-out bulb in the bathroom

- A burnt-out bulb in the second living hall

- One broken standing fan blade

- One shower head that stopped functioning

- One leaking toilet bowl in the master bathroom

And the list continued to grow...

"Great! Now what?" I sighed.

"It’s alright, we’ll fix this... one thing at a time," Atik said gently, smiling at me.

So, I did what I do best: listed everything down, prioritized them, informed the landlord, and followed up!

The next day, we tackled what we could ourselves. We went out together, bought the necessary items, and came home to fix them.

Phew, everything can fall apart at once, but all we can do is pick up the pieces one thing at a time.
