My sick old Jojie, the cat

Jojie hasn’t been very well in the last few days, and I'm worried sick for him. I can hear him humming his cat sound. In the comforting hum of my sick old cat's purrs, I find solace. His once lustrous fur, now slightly unkempt, tells tales of the passage of time. His one-eyed gaze, once sharp and inquisitive, now holds a hint of vulnerability, looking at me with a muted understanding.

As I run my fingers through his fur, my worries for his health linger, a silent concern in the shared gaze. In these moments, I'm reminded of life's fragility, the fleeting nature of time, and the special bond we share.

Each purr becomes a cherished melody, a gentle reminder to appreciate the warmth of companionship in every precious heartbeat.

I want him to be healthy again but I don’t want this moment of having him close to me to end…
